Admission for MBA Programme

Eligibility:Candidate needs to be graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with a valid MAT/CAT score. Students appearing in the examination of  final year of their degree course, may also apply.

How to apply
Candidates aspiring for admission need to register themselves on the prescribed application form available at the Uttaranchal Institute of Technology. A copy of MAT/CAT score card and mark sheet of qualifying examination must be attached along with the application form. Students appearing in their qualifying examination may attach  copy of second year mark sheet. Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit computed from their CAT/MAT score and the counseling will be held in the presence of Government and Uttarakhand Technical University Nominee in the campus of the institute.

The MBA programme provides the students with a strategic perspective on contemporary issues in management.

This programme aims at providing  the management trainees the holistic understanding of the theory and practice of management and the up-to-date knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the real business world. The curriculum is designed in a manner so as to produce managers who are well equipped with technical expertise and practical knowledge relevant to the modern globalized environment.

The 2 years course is divided into four semesters each of around 6 month duration. In the first two semesters the students are required to study the basic course of management and courses of functional awareness.

The course in the second year is designed to build up the basic skill and personality of students with practical orientation and broad specialties in Marketing, Finance, Information Systems, Human Resource Management and International Business.

The course has extensive in house practical training component Audio-Visual, Laboratories, Class Room Sessions, Seminar Session and Industrial Visits.
